We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance while promoting a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the establishment.
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop sales strategies and enhance overall restaurant performance.
Skills
- Strong culinary knowledge with an emphasis on food safety practices.
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Proficient in cash handling and experience with cash registers.
- Ability to analyze sales data using retail math to drive business decisions.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale technology is preferred.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or retail environment is advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers.
