What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician position at Park Hills Animal Hospital?
The kennel attendant takes care of the patient's everyday needs in the hospital and boarding facility. In addition, they are responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and odor-free facility and grounds. The hospital/boarding area must be clean and presentable at all times so that the entire staff is proud of the facilities, and most importantly that clients feel comfortable with the care we provide their pets.
We currently board cats and dogs, all required to be up to date on vaccinations. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: feedings, administering medications, potty breaks, cleaning indoor kennel runs/cages and outdoor runs, laundry duties, playtimes with boarding pets, assisting support staff and hospital services as needed.
SHIFTS NEEDED INCLUDE:
MON 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM
WED 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM
SATURDAY PM SHIFT (NOT EVERY WEEK, GENERALLY 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
SUNDAY AM SHIFT 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
