Park Hills Chevrolet is the newest Chevrolet dealer in Southeast Missouri and the fastest growing in the St Louis zone. We are located a short drive south of St. Louis in St. Francois County. We are searching for a motivated and driven Full-time Automotive Sales Associate to join our growing organization. As part of our sales team, you will be the first point of contact between customers and the dealership. Responsibilities
- Analyze customers’ wants and needs to effectively recommend products and services
- Showcase the dealership’s vehicles (new and used) and explain their features and warranties to customers
- Inform customers about special promotions and current sales
- Negotiate profitable sales transactions with customers
- Maintain current knowledge of competitors’ offers and sales tactics
- Perform vehicle delivery for buyers after a purchase has been completed
- Routinely follow up with buyers to ensure continued satisfaction
- Contribute to dealership sales data by filling out standard reports
- Cold call prospective buyers to generate new business when necessary
Qualifications
- Chevrolet or General Motors sales experience preferred
- Friendly and energetic personality; Enjoys assisting customers
- Excellent and effective verbal communication skills
- Time management skills and willingness to take the initiative
- Preferred: Previous experience in a sales role but it’s not required. We will train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, well groomed
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
