What You’ll Do
- Safely guide children and pedestrians across designated intersections or crosswalks.
- Monitor traffic flow and signal pedestrians to cross when it is safe.
- Use hand signals, stop paddles, and verbal commands to direct traffic when necessary.
- Enforce compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
- Report traffic violations and safety concerns to local law enforcement or school authorities.
- Assist pedestrians during adverse weather conditions or hazardous situations.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with students, parents, and drivers.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on safety protocols.
- Collaborate with school officials and local authorities to promote traffic safety awareness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
