Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas in hotels or residential properties.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to ensure all surfaces are clean and well-maintained.
- Sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, ensuring all fixtures are spotless and hygienic.
- Launder linens and towels according to established protocols, ensuring fresh supplies are available for guests or residents.
- Execute custodial duties including trash removal, dusting surfaces, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any maintenance issues or supply needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
