Before and After Care Counselor
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to serve as Before & After care counselors for our upcoming school year. As a B&A counselor, you will be responsible for supervising and engaging a group of children aged 4-12 in various activities and programs.
You will work alongside other counselors and staff to ensure that all attending children have a safe, fun, and educational experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities and programs.
- Implement and lead age-appropriate activities, including but not limited to games, sports, and arts and crafts.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for all campers.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and games.
- Provide guidance and support to campers to ensure they have a positive experience.
- Communicate with parents and guardians as needed.
- Assist with camp set-up and take-down as needed.
- Attend all training and staff meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have experience working with children.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be enthusiastic, responsible, and reliable.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a child abuse clearance check.
- Must be available to work flexible hours
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children in a camp or similar setting preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, but not required)
- Must be able to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
Schedule:
1:00PM to 6:00PM
