Rehab Tech /Therapy Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to join our team. The Rehabilitation Therapy Aide is responsible for assisting the Therapists and Therapists Assistants by providing rehabilitative support to the therapy program and to patients following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Duties

• Understands philosophy of care, resident rights, patient dignity and HIPAA/ confidentiality
• Cross-check all therapist's evaluations and recertification report
• Scanning documents and data entry
• Insurance management and HMO authorization oversight
• Keeping up on supplies for department
• Managing the supplies for therapy pool and keeping temp logs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in rehabilitation or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform tasks that may require lifting or standing for extended periods.
• CNA certification or MA is also a must
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating empathy and patience towards patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
