What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Teller - Mansfield South Office position at Park National Bank?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve customers, prospective customers and bank associates promptly and professionally and in full accordance with Park Promises and Serving More standards.
- Execute and safeguard all teller, security and cash-related branch operation activities within established standard operating procedures, processes, and policies to limit financial losses.
- Assess and proactively communicate with supervisor skill development areas and training opportunities related to teller team.
- Complete transaction processing timely, accurately, and in accordance with bank procedures
- Mentor Teller team by modeling professional behavior and demonstrating confident service delivery in a variety of customer service situations; communicate operational and tactical instructions to tellers in an effective manner.
- Cross train on tasks identified by Assistant Banking Center Manager or Banking Center Manager to fully support branch objectives.
- Maintain an awareness of and adhere to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks.
- Assist branch management with branch operations metric reporting, as needed.
- Complete ongoing product knowledge, digital product knowledge, financial services and sales-oriented training in addition to all required course training to sustain broad base of product, service and sales knowledge.
- Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and suggest products and services to meet their needs
- Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position must be able to remain in a stationary standing position a minimum of 75% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant verbal communication with customers and coworkers to discuss and observe account information in order to exchange accurate information. Must be able to bend and lift up to 25 pounds on a daily basis; raise arms up to 90 degrees; and have dexterity in hands to fine count currency.
EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
2 - 4 years or more of banking experience preferred
Experience with teller policies, procedures preferred
Prior supervisory experience is a plus
SCHEDULE
Operating hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm. Expected number of Saturday shifts per month is 2-3. This position is hourly and full-time. A minimum 37.5 hours is required to maintain eligibility for full-time status. Generally the position will require 37.5 - 40 hours per week.
