Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Home Care Compliance Supervisor to join our Home Care team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary
Plans, coordinates, and manages the daily and overall operational activities related to compliance with state and federal health care rules and regulations. Maintains overall responsibility for planning and implementing a systematic, department wide approach to ensure compliance with regulations and validity of billing and claims submission. Oversees all patient reporting, timely and accurate coding of patient accounts and reported data, Medicare and insurance audits, and external surveys for compliance with state and federal regulations.
Department Specifics
The supervisor will oversee a team of five direct reports in addition to managing patient data entry, coding, and readiness for audits and surveys. The role also involves monitoring daily workflows, assisting with audits, reviewing patient admissions, recertifications, and discharges. Additional responsibilities include leading QAPI meetings, submitting OASIS data, supporting infection prevention efforts, developing performance improvement plans (PIPs), participating in regulatory and survey readiness activities, and providing feedback on EPIC system updates.
An ideal candidate has leadership experience with a focus on team management, system development, and navigating change. Strong organizational skills and a data-driven approach are key. Experience in home care is preferred, especially with OASIS and data analysis.
The Home Care Quality team is highly collaborative. In addition, as part of the ongoing One Care Group initiative, there will be exciting opportunities to lead cross-team efforts and help align programs across the service line. There will be many areas of opportunity as we work to grow and align across the service line.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8a-5p. Hybrid, on-site at Park Nicollet or Lakeview offices as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in specified discipline.
- Experience creating and conducting compliance assessments and developing corrective action plans.
- Experience with reading, analyzing, and working with health care laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Experience interacting with state and federal regulatory agencies and the Joint Commission. Experience presenting information to key stakeholder groups (physicians, peers, clinical staff).
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- If baccalaureate is RN, then current MN RN licensure required for roles within Nursing
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Operates personal computer utilizing spread sheet data and word processing
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of coding, billing and reimbursement processes and systems.
- Working knowledge of government program (Medicare, Medicaid) and licensure requirements.
- Working knowledge of policies and procedures currently utilized in the Department.
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to relate to physicians and allied health professionals.
- Ability to develop work plans and to lead work groups.
