Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT to join our Employee Health Services team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Under EOHS RN supervision provides disability case management, general nursing care and health screening to team members. Assists EOHS in various health service programs all under EOHS RN supervision; coordinate pre-employment and annual health screening; administration of medications per protocol, including but not limited to, immunizations, immunoglobulin and over the counter medications; first aid treatment; coordination and consultation in determination of team member’s ability to return to work or continue work and performs evaluation of medical leaves of absence. On a rotating basis, this individual will provide Frontline coverage for EOHS. This includes, but is not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, greeting all who come into the EOHS office, scheduling appointments, and support department clerical duties.
Required Qualifications
We are open to filling this position with an LPN, MA, or EMT. Requirements for each are outlined below:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. One or more years of nursing experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). One or more years of experience desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current MN EMT License. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
Compensation
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our range may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation based on role (i.e. shift differential, bonus, sales incentive, productivity pay, etc.)
