What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Park & Patina Design Build?
We are a small family-owned company in the residential construction, design, and build sector. We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team of 5 people.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Manage and keep track of selections and material pricing for several projects.
2. Source selections and material options when needed.
3. Track the arrival of samples for several projects and assist with design meeting/concept meeting prep at the Design Studio.
4. Monitor sample inventory.
5. Assist with staging for completed project photo shoots.
6. Prepare jobsite binders, permit boxes and have plans printed.
7. Communicate effectively with vendors, trades, and clients.
8. Prepare and edit various proposals and presentations.
9. Welcome / Onboarding packets
10. Coordinating walkthroughs
11. Scheduling design meetings / home scans / review meetings with Savanna.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Experience: Administrative experience, preferably in a construction or design-related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Keep)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction or interior design industry
- Knowledge of design software (e.g., Chief Architect, AutoCAD, SketchUp)
- Familiarity with construction terminology and processes
- Experience with CRMs (e.g., JobTread, Materio)
