SUMMARY:
Maintenance and oversight of the Agency buildings and facilities, including but not limited to: painting, repair of damaged facilities and equipment, construction as necessary, replacing locks, ceiling tiles, lights, repairs and installs counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, building framework, and trim. Inspects lights (outside/inside); also, does some plumbing and electrical repair.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Duties and Responsibilities reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all related work assignments that may be inherent to the job.
- Maintenance and oversight of the organization’s buildings and facilities, including but not limited to: painting, repair of damaged facilities and equipment, construction as necessary, replacing locks, ceiling tiles, lights, repairs and installs counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, building framework, and trim. Inspects lights (outside/inside); also, does some plumbing and electrical repair.
- Installs glass in windows, doors, and partitions.
- Replaces damaged ceiling tile, floor tile, and wall coverings.
- Installs items such as window shades, venetian blinds, and curtain rods, walls fans, and door locks.
- Perform preventive building maintenance.
- Responds to work orders in a timely fashion.
- Other duties as required by Supervisor.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to operate basic tools and equipment.
- Ability to provide technical assistance by troubleshooting simple facilities maintenance issues and determining their cause.
- Ability to identify problems, determine possible solutions and actively work to resolve the issues.
- Ability to follow instructions through a standard work process.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

- The individual must have an earned a high one year related experience. Individual must have ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with personnel and with supervisors.
- Commensurate skills in carpentry, plumbing, construction, painting, maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities.
- Competent to work efficiently and effectively on an independent basis.
- Knowledge, training and experience in the proper use of said equipment and safety management.
- Position requires flexible schedule.
- COMPUTER SKILLS: Must have Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the use of personal computers, and standard office productivity software.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid Class E Drivers’ License for positions that require driving personal or Agency vehicle on Agency business.
- Must maintain a minimum Bodily Injury & Property Liability insurance limit of at least $50,000 for positions that require driving personal own vehicle (POV) on Agency business. (Proof Required)
- PPBH is a 24/7 Agency. All employees must be available as needed when required.
