We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Park Place Dental of San Mateo. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages to provide personalized dental hygiene services.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays.
- Educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene and demonstrating effective oral hygiene methods.
- Communicating with doctors regarding patient needs for restorative and/or periodontal treatments.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
- X-Ray/Radiology Certification where state regulations specify.
- Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide certification where state regulations specify.
