Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction science or management, or civil engineering preferred.
- Construction Manager certification by the American Institute of Constructors or Construction Management Association of America preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of related experience

- Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
- Understanding of all facets of the design, bid and construction process.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Desire and drive to be proactive and take ownership of the team and processes.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Able to work as part of a large project team and interact effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
- A self-starter, versatile and adept at functioning in a small department in either a lead or support role.

- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to read and understand site plans, MEP plans, architectural plans, etc.
- Read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
- Proficient with Excel, Word, Project and some experience with Bluebeam.
