Laser Technician/Assembler

Park Place Sign Systems is a, family owned, national wholesale only manufacturer of ADA compliant and custom interior wayfinding signage. Our manufacturing facility utilizes laser and rotary engravers, CNC router tables, direct to substrate digital printing, screen printing and complete finish paint capabilities to produce signage for our customers located from coast to coast. We create signage with Braille and raised text to help people navigate public spaces.

The Assembler/Laser Technician is a full-time, entry level position. A typical work shift is 8:30am to 5pm, Monday-Friday, with morning & afternoon breaks. Lunch period is a half hour in length. Some daily overtime may be required with an occasional Saturday shift based upon the needs of our production schedule.

We are looking for individuals who have strong computer skills, can learn and perform multiple task and who can take direction on a daily basis and work on their own. You will need to be able to think outside the box.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Prep and cut materials using laser cutting machine

- Output files to the laser cutting machines using computer graphic programs

- Use of rotary engraver to drill and place Braille beads

- Load and unload parts as needed

- Clean and assemble products as required

- Quality check finished products

- Clean work areas as needed

- Assist other areas as needed

Qualifications and Skills

- Strong computer skills with good attention to detail

- The ability to report on time each day and be ready to work

- The ability to report to work five days a week with overtime as needed

- The ability to work occasional Saturdays

- Willing to submit to Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Valid drivers license preferred

- Reliable transportation
