What are the responsibilities and job description for the DIetary Manager position at Park Place Transitional Care and Rehabilitation?
Job Duties:
- Oversee the dietary department and ensure the provision of high-quality meals and nutrition services to residents in a Skilled Nursing facility.
- Follow and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
- Compliance verification at both State and Federal levels of participation for long-term care.
- Monitor food production, storage, and distribution to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Train and supervise dietary staff members to ensure proper food handling, preparation, and service.
- Maintain accurate records of resident dietary information, including allergies, restrictions, and preferences.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Dietary Manager or related position.
- Familiarity with Long Term Care regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, staff members, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in meal planning and record keeping.
- Prefer CDM certification
- Long Term Care Dietary Experience
