We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations within the office. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and manage incoming calls, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist with account analysis, budgeting, and account reconciliation as needed.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes efficiently.
- Utilize software such as QuickBooks and Quicken for financial record keeping and reporting.
- Support tax preparation activities by organizing necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions using 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks and Quicken is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial principles such as budgeting, tax preparation, account analysis, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
