What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aquatics Cashier, Seasonal position at Park Ridge Park District?
Description: Responsible for handling all financial register transactions, answering telephone calls, and providing face-to-face customer service by fielding questions related to operational hours, fees, and swim lessons. Will also produce financial cash reports at the end of each shift, count, and verify currency. Some light cleaning is involved. May provide support for programs and special events.
Qualifications: Cash handling skills and learning POS (point of sale) computer systems are required. Applicant must have interpersonal skills to greet all guests/patrons/employees politely and professionally. A basic level of written and verbal communication in the English language is required. Selected individuals need to be at least 15 years of age.
Availability: Scheduled hours and shifts vary per week from May through the first week of September; 15 hours or more per week, which include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
