About the role
To assist members with their consumer loan needs, analyzing loan requests and making credit decisions based on credit union lending policy and within regulatory requirements. Interview members and potential members to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and long-term financial plans and underwrite the loan product to meet their needs. Manage loan delinquencies. Cross sell credit union services to meet those needs and goals to include referrals to other departments. Assist members with other products and services including new accounts, account changes, wires, or other member requests or branch needs.
Hours
Loan Associates are full-time employees usually working 38-40 hours a week with 35 of those hours in a member facing role and 3-5 hours of training per week.
Qualifications
- A high school education or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous financial experience is preferred.
- Two year college degree or completion of specialized courses of study at business or trade school or specialized or extensive training or apprenticeship program completion preferred.
The pay range for this role is:
23.90 - 23.90 USD per hour(Great Northern)
