What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinarian in PRIVATELY owned hospital *9-5* x 3-4days, no wkends position at Park Street Veterinary Clinic?
Get out of the corporate grind and come work in a fun and friendly environment. Make good money working 3-4 days a week (24-32 hours) in a privately female- owned practice with no overnights, no weekends or major holidays, no on-call, and no negative accrual.
We are a respected, low-stress handling, integrative clinic practicing high quality General Medicine as well as integrative acupuncture, chiropractic and herbal therapies. We support special interests!
Certification in veterinary acupuncture, veterinary manual manipulation (Chiro) and/or Chinese herbal therapy is a plus but NOT REQUIRED for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in animals
- Independently perform routine surgeries, COHATs and other non-specialty medical procedures as needed
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and wellness exams
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinarians and staff members to provide comprehensive care
Experience:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- State licensure to practice veterinary medicine
- Experience working with a variety of animal species, including dogs and cats.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with compassion and professionalism
