Nurse Manager - Ventilator Unit Duties and Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Ventilator Unit, ensuring high standards of care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation
Lead a team of nurses and respiratory therapists in providing specialized care, ensuring proper ventilation protocols and procedures are followed
Collaborate with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for ventilator-dependent patients
Ensure staff receive ongoing training and support in ventilator care, emergency response, and infection control
Conduct performance evaluations, participate in recruitment efforts, and ensure adequate staffing levels
Monitor patient conditions, address care concerns, and implement corrective actions when necessary
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies related to ventilator care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the strategic planning of the Ventilator Unit
Nurse Manager - Ventilator Unit Qualifications and Skills :
Experience managing ventilator-dependent patients : 2 years (Preferred)
Previous Nurse Manager or leadership experience (Preferred)
RN Licensure (Required)
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on team development
Knowledge of ventilator equipment and respiratory care protocols
