Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis. Adjunct faculty are required to successfully complete an online Canvas LMS orientation course before being scheduled, as well as other training if required by the department. This is a face to face course. Local applicants only.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) with current enrollment and evidence of progression in a Master’s in Nursing Degree program.
- Attended or plan to attend prior to the MHA clinical adjunct academy.
- Unencumbered RN License in Missouri or a multistate license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification for the Health Care Provider
- Experience within the last two years in the clinical area of interest is required
Course Description
Our clinical rotations vary depending on clinical placement availability with our clinical partners, as well as the clinical day hours vary by course. Our clinical partners are located throughout the Greater Kansas City area and St. Joseph, MO.
