Are you passionate about animals and looking for an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new facility? We're on the lookout for dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team at **Park Vet Boarding & Spa**, a state-of-the-art boarding facility that's opening soon at a brand-new location!
As a Kennel Attendant you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of the pets in our care. If you're an animal lover with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment, this could be the perfect job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to all animals, ensuring they are comfortable, safe, and well-cared for during their stay.
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces to maintain a healthy and hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns or issues to the appropriate staff members.
- Feed, water, and administer medications to animals as needed, following specific instructions from owners or veterinary staff.
- Engage pets in supervised play and exercise, offering socialization and attention to help reduce stress during their stay.
- Maintain detailed records of each animal's care, including feeding schedules, behavior, and any special needs.
- Assist with grooming services, bathing, and light grooming tasks as required.
- Documentation of the animals during their stay, notating feeding, using the bathroom, behavior, services, creating report cards along with uploading the finalized documentation to their file.

- A love for animals and a desire to provide exceptional care.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience working with animals or in a kennel environment is a plus, but not required – we are willing to train the right person!

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or achieving a high school diploma within two years of hire (minimum age 16)
