Park Village Healthcare Center has an excellent occupational therapist career opportunity in Dover, Ohio. This occupational therapist job is a PRN position. The successful candidate will be supervising and directing a dynamic and progressive staff, and will be managing the occupational therapy programs of our resident population.
Occupational Therapist Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Assessing patient needs, planning for, evaluating, and modifying care to meet the goals of the Occupational Therapy Plan of Care
- Collaborating with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
- Instructing patient/family/caregivers on patient’s comprehensive occupational therapy program
- Advising, consulting, and interacting with members of the multi-disciplinary team regarding the Occupational Therapy Plan of Care
- Observing and reporting patient progress and/or changes in patient status to physician and appropriate multi-disciplinary team members
- Other duties as assigned
Occupational Therapist Job Requirements:
- Dynamic interest in Occupational Therapy program and staff development
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Ohio license
