Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, hospitality, and industrial cleaning, ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff alike. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of performance.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain records of maintenance requests and coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs.
• Housekeeping Supervisor will also work the floor as well as collaborating with the Maintenance Director with supply orders.

Experience

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and floor care techniques is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, guests, and other departments.
• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team environment.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
