Description
* Daily cleaning of all resident rooms.
* Daily cleaning of common spaces (hall areas, elevators, etc.)
* Organization of Housekeeping storage room.
* Adhere to proper safety precautions with all procedures, supplies, and chemicals.
* Assist other staff with deep-cleaning tasks.
* Report any repair and/or replace problems to maintenance.
* Assist with list of department cleaning and other tasks as posted.
Requirements
Essential Job Requirements:
* Ability to complete tasks start to finish thoroughly, at a steady pace with high standards of excellence.
* Ability identify and communicate with staff, residents, and family members.
* Ability to concentrate, understand and remember instructions regarding task assignments.
* Desire and ability to support Park Village Pines' Mission Statement.
* Communicate with the Housekeeping Supervisor on projects that need attention.
Essential Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
* Push/pull carts weighing an average of 50-75 lbs. on wheeled casters on carpeted floors.
* Ability to work, walk/move quickly for full shift.
* Frequently twist, stoop, bend, kneel, squat and climb stairs.
* Ability to stand or walk up to 100% in an 8-hour shift.
* Ability to wear gloves and other protective equipment.
* Ability to read small print on equipment and written materials.
* Frequent exposure to materials using personal protective equipment.
* Knowledgeable of use and care of hazardous chemicals such as soaps, disinfectants, etc.
