Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including experience with Aloha POS systems preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety standards is essential.
- Ability to sanitize work areas effectively and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Experience with cash register operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
