Maintenance Technician Job Description:
Our corporate office is based out of New York and is expanding across the country, building a high-end brand, “Student Housing with A Modern Twist!”. Park7 currently owns and manages over 10,000 beds and has 3,500 additional beds under construction. We also have over 1,800 more beds in various stages of acquisition, permitting and approvals!
With our continuous growth, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our luxury student housing community in Waco, Texas. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding company who now has several states building new, state-of-the-art housing communities for college students, the room for growth and new experiences are unlimited. The Maintenance Technician is to assist in maintaining and caring for a mixture of 1,2-,3-,4- and 5-bedroom apartments, as well as maintaining the physical integrity of the grounds. The Maintenance Technician should strive to make our clients happy, completing work orders on a timely manner. The position requires an on call schedule every other week, handling 24-hour emergencies as needed. Lots of room for future growth, as we grow, so join our team today!

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO WORK ON AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:
- Care and upkeep of all rental units, property, and facilities.
- Assisting in maintenance situations.
- Assisting with work orders.
- Upkeep of the grounds (Picking up trash daily)
- Assisting with turnover; walking units, touch up painting, moving furniture, etc.
- Rotate on-call service to residents
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to navigate property which may require climbing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching above the head, and reaching forward. Occasionally climbing of ladders.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
YOU COULD BE THE RIGHT PERSON IF YOU HAVE:
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
- Appliance repair and carpentry skills
- Strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license/transportation (to and from work) required
- High School diploma or equivalent
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU ALSO HAVE (optional):
- HVAC certification (EPA Certification)
- Applicable Pool Operator License (CPO)
