We conduct business in branches located in Northfield, NJ, Galloway, NJ, Collingswood, NJ, two branches in Sewell, NJ as well as two branches in Philadelphia, PA. Job Summary:
The Bank Receptionist will act as the first point of contact to greet visitors, or customers to the building. She/ He will be responsible to handle the phone switch board and to direct or transfer the incoming calls for the bank. Will perform a variety of clerical duties such as typing, sorting, and preparing mailings. Also, be a backup Teller as approved.
Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Job Skills: Receptionist / Back Up Teller:
- Good customer service skills.
- Be courteous and professional.
- Switchboard experience helpful.
- Experience working on Computer with Word and Excel
- Previous hands-on experience with teller procedures.
- Experience counting cash and maintaining the cash draw in an orderly matter.
- Experience in handling cash and cashing checks with mathematical skills.
- Customer service background.
- General banking knowledge of check availability.
- Ability to post deposit and withdrawals transactions.
- Ability to verify customer identification on checks and withdrawals.
- Knowledge to sell bank products and services.
- Experience processing loan payments.
- Ability to help with ATM Debit and Debit Card problems.
- Experience in settling daily cash drawer.
Job Duties: Receptionist / Bank Teller:
- Greets Customers upon entering and departing from the bank.
- Directs customers to customer service regarding products and services.
- Answers the switchboard and transfers call to the proper individual/departments.
- Clerical duties such as typing, sorting, processing reports and preparing mailings.
- Process Armored Car Vendor Transactions and Large Check Report
- Back up to be a fill in bank teller when approved.
- A Teller provides a variety of service functions, including verifying and posting of all savings and loan transaction and money order sales; check cashing and ensure safety and settlement of cash drawer; and demonstrates a thorough understanding of all products and services.
- Completes CTRwhen necessary, in accordance with Bank Secrecy Act.
- Maintain customer satisfaction.
- Answers customers' questions regarding products and services.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by Management as related to the Bank and its functions.
Work Hours – Varies Monday through Saturday up to 40 hours per week.
