You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management to successfully meet or exceed enterprise and business unit goals.
The scope of this role typically includes small divisions, medium-sized plant locations, large plant locations, or small regions such as a portion of a country. You will be responsible for the execution of EHS programs and procedures cascaded from Corporate, Group, or Division to meet enterprise and business unit EHS objectives and targets with an emphasis on safety and accident prevention, EHS regulatory compliance, and resource conservation.
This position requires a strong working knowledge of EHS regulations and experience in industrial safety management. A good understanding of resource conservation is also essential. The successful candidate will have a passion for EHS and be able to translate it into practical action.
