Reports to: Director of Operations
Job summary: The Camp Hope Coordinator is a seasonal role for a motivated, organized, and compassionate individual to lead and support volunteers and church coordinators at our summer Camp Hope program. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing daily camp operations, ensuring a fun, safe, and enriching environment for all campers. This role includes supervising and collaborating with church volunteers to plan and execute activities, ensuring the safety of all children, and maintaining regular communication with supervisors, staff, and all involved parties.
The position requires in-person interaction with colleagues, volunteers, participants, supporters, and donors, as well as immediate access to documents, resources, and other materials available at the Center of Hope.

Essential Functions:
· Maintains and manages Center of Hope’s community outreach program Camp Hope
· Works with Director of Operations to create curriculum and menus for camp
· Purchases and/or coordinates with pantry manager to supply food for all camps
· Serves as Center of Hope point of contact for all camps
· Completes monthly statistical data and reports, including data input in ETO, as required by the Director of Operations, to monitor and evaluate program activities and participant outcomes
· Works cooperatively and collaboratively with Center of Hope volunteers
· Supervises Camp Hope assistant (seasonal employment)
· Represents Parker County Center of Hope to the community
· Attends and participates in departmental and Center of Hope meetings and professional development activities as directed
· Other responsibilities, as requested by supervisor and/or CEO
Qualifications:
· Actively involved in a Christian church; personal life reflects strong Christian principles
· U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; legally authorized to work in the US
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Able to convey a high degree of leadership, commitment, and passion for Center of Hope’s mission
· Self-starter who can initiate and complete projects; must maintain a high level of confidentiality
· Excellent written and oral communication skills that are effective with a diverse range of people, including volunteers, staff, donors, potential funding partners, and all constituencies
· Exceptional understanding of philanthropy as it relates to nonprofit organizations
· Able to work independently and as part of a team; detail oriented, well organized, focused, and goal oriented, with a high level of initiative and energy
· Prior experience in donor management software such as Donor Perfect, preferred
· Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
Work week expectation:
· This is a seasonal position, non-exempt position of approximately 28 hours per week during camp season. It may require some planning hours prior to camp season that will vary
· The work week is Monday-Thursday. Work hours will require both day and evening hours.
· Time spent representing Center of Hope and/or conducting other Center business away from the main buildings shall be included in the hours of work listed.
Physical requirements of this position:
· Prolonged standing and walking, as well as sitting at a desk and using a computer
· Physically able to bend, stoop, and lift in order to facilitate job responsibilities noted above
· Must be able to routinely lift and move boxes, bags, and donated items weighing 10-15 pounds; must follow policies and procedures to receive, move, and distribute heavier items using appropriate equipment and designated safety protocols
· Vision and hearing must be sufficient to interact with other staff, volunteers, donors and participants and to carry out the responsibilities of the job as noted herein

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
