Electrical Assembler
Essential Functions
Perform a variety of operations including but not limited to; building electrical control panels from examples and wiring diagrams for the company's full product line as well as assist in assembly of machines, sub-assemblies and other components as needed.
-Electrical Box Building using the following components:
- Din Rails
- Transformers
- Contactors
- Overload Relays
- Power Supplies
- VFDs
- Terminal Blocks
- Safety Switches
- Prox Sensors
-Box building to include mounting all components and wiring up components from a sample box or wiring diagrams.
Other Functions
Assemble machine components or sub-assemblies. Performing such operations as fitting and aligning shafts, belts, pulley, matching parts at assembly, re-drilling, re-tapping, reaming, checking for clearances, end play, free working of parts. Perform wiring of motors and controls per standard practice.
Connect equipment to power source, make standard operating adjustments and test to check for noise, vibration, free working parts, proper operation of slides, cams, levers, etc. Install name plates, attach necessary operating instructions and warning tags. Ability to troubleshoot minor assembly problems.
Work from drawings, job orders and verbal instructions which will require knowledge of hand and power tools, limited range of measuring equipment, fixed gauges, assembly and adjusting fixtures. Select parts, check for obvious damage, report problems to management and quality control inspection.
Keep assembly line floor stock items replenished, Fill out the proper paperwork to requisition floor stock items and the ability to reject non-compliant parts from assembly line.
Basic computer functions
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a.m. - 4:30p.m.
Pay Rate: $20-$25/hr.
