Position Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
Position requires individual to perform all duties and responsibilities required of a Preventative Maintenance Technician. With minimum supervision, this individual will perform preventative maintenance service, repairs and inspections on equipment and facility. Individual will assist other maintenance personnel. Maintain preventative maintenance logs on all equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs preventative maintenance functions with minimal direct supervision. Assists other Maintenance personnel when needed.
2. Services various types of production machinery as required.
3. Performs general building maintenance duties as assigned.
4. Services hydraulic controls and systems.
5. Constructs machine components as required.
6. Advises maintenance supervision of potential equipment issues.
7. Completes paperwork as required including work orders, inspection reports, logs, etc.
8. May be called upon to work late evenings, early mornings, or other unscheduled hours to perform necessary preventative maintenance.
9. Keeps work area neat, clean, organized, and under control.
10. Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
11. Perform and understand lubrication routes on equipment
Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: High school education. Machine setup or operator with 2 years of experience.
Preferred: Maintenance Technician graduate. Machine setup or operator with year 3 to 5 of experience and/or previous mechanical and electrical experience.
