Position Summary
The purpose of this position is obtain the necessary training, testing and experience to qualify as a certified (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) ASNT-TC-1A Level I Radiographic Technician, in accordance with applicable codes and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 Procedures and Work Instructions, under the supervision of an RT Level II / III Qualified Radiography Trainer.
Responsibilities

The duties include, but may not be limited to the following :
- Conduct nondestructive RT examinations to include interpretation and evaluation of products for adherence to code, regulations, customer specifications, and IPF Division Standards, under the supervision of a QA Radiographer I / II / III.
- Calibrate equipment.
- Complete inspection records.
- Work with customer inspectors, as necessary.
- Prepare documentation packages as specified..
- Follow ISO 9001 work instructions.
- Obtain on-the-job training and study to become certified as an ASNT-TC-1A RT Technician Level I.
- Obtain a Texas State Radiographers License.
- Perform other tasks, as assigned.

The duties of this job are also performed in climate-controlled temperature office environments, with low to moderate noise levels and fluorescent, incandescent and / or natural lighting.
