What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Day Shift - Team Lead position at Parker Hannifin Corporation?
Position Summary
WEEKLY PAY!
Pay rate: $21-$25 per hour
Production Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Shift: 5:00 AM -5:00 PM (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Team members will work (3) 12-hour shifts for 36 hours. They will be paid for 40 provided they have perfect attendance.
Essential Duties:
- Complete required safety audits.
- Complete quality checks within the value stream.
- Review and file quality documentation for each line.
- Fill in for any open roles within value stream daily.
- Coach team members on processes, procedures and production measures.
- Schedule production orders to meet customer due dates.
- Submit material outage documentation.
- Submit Bill of Material changes.
- Submit Pick Tickets for materials to complete production orders.
- Track and Submit labor reports to management.
- Troubleshoot team member issues with materials, equipment, programs, etc.
- Complete cycle counts.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Safety:
- Understand All PPE Requirements within the Value Stream
- Understand and Teach All LOTO Requirements with the Value Stream
Quality:
- Understand and Teach All Aspects of The Quality Plan
- Read, Understand and Teach Bill of Materials
- Read a Tape Measure to a 16th of an Inch
- Utilize Calibrated Equipment & Devices to Assess Materials and Products
- Complete and Review Documents
Delivery:
- Communicate Effectively with and Train All Team Members
- Lead by Example
- Complete Mathematical Calculations
- Effectively Use a Computer, Computer Program (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Learn and Execute All Duties for Production Tasks within the Value Stream
- Learn and Execute All Duties of the Group Lead Position and Function as a Backup
- Lead and Coach High Performance Teams
Cost:
- Ability to Understand and Production Track Metrics
Responsibilities:
- Escalate issues with personnel, equipment or materials up the chain of command in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all personnel are following plant safety guidelines.
- Ensure all lines are meeting product quality standards.
- Ensure the team meets production goals and measures.
- Ensure entry of data into computer programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
