What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - 2nd shift position at Parker Hannifin Corporation?
Position Summary
- Load finished goods or unload raw materials to and from trucks.
- Timely fulfillment and delivery of materials and product to support of production goals and customer deadlines.
- Safely operate a forklift (upon completion of certification program).
- Process Raw Material receipts.
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm, with overtime assigned as needed.
Pay range: $18.00 - $19.74 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience.
- Must complete and pass forklift certification program.
- Must be able to operate a forklift in a professional manner and have good maneuverability skills.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- May be required to lift to approximately 35 pounds
- Must be able to stand at workstation for a long period of time
- Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles
- Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions
