Horticulturist Service Technician

Do you have a passion for plants or enjoy improving indoor environments?

We are currently seeking a Full Time Horticulturist Service Technician in Uncasville, CT. The job primarily consists of checking in with the client, testing the plants for water, and grooming the plants. There is a lot of walking so you will get your steps in - minimum of 5 miles a day!

Parker provides all the equipment required.

Qualifications:

• Must have strong work ethic, be detail orientated and have a positive attitude
• Must provide exceptional customer service at all times and build relationships
• Ability to follow instructions
• Must pass background screen
• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Must meet all company Motor Vehicle Requirements (MVR)
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak, read, and write English
• Strong time management skills

Preferred Skills: Previous experience in landscape, horticulture, and/or a greenhouse

Physical/environmental elements for this position: The candidate must have the ability to handle physical workload including bending, squatting, walking (spending all day on their feet), stretching, climbing a ladder, reaching, lifting up to 30 lbs.

Salary: $17.00 - $23.00/per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
