Transportation Coordinator-Full Time
Now hiring for a full time schedule of Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Parker Jewish Institute is seeking a full time Transportation Coordinator to provide administrative support in the Nursing Department. In this role, you will provide key organizational and clerical support to the Nursing Department, obtaining insurance authorizations for patient transportation and appointments, processing transportation requests, and contribute to the quality care provided to the residents and patients at Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation.

Position Qualifications:

Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and SigmaCare, or another EMR software

Experience in an administrative role in a medical or healthcare office setting; experience scheduling patient appointments a plus
- Associate's Degree (2 years of college)

Knowledgeable in insurance verification processes

Familiarity arranging Transportation for Medicaid Patients (MAS , Logisticare) a plus

Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
