The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY seeks a full time Director for Quality Management. This individual will support the skilled nursing facility and additional health care community entities.
This position will lead all aspects of quality (performance) improvement activities for the organization, overseeing/coordinating all activities of the organization relating to regulatory and external compliance requirements. Acts as a resource for various Programs and Department Heads for regulatory standards interpretation and application, including internal audits for regulatory compliance.
Candidates will bring strong leadership experience, organizational skills to include planning follow-up skills to ensure operational objectives are met or exceeded. Additionally, the selected candidate will have a results-oriented focus, with a collaborative style to achieve goals with and through other team members. Candidates must be a Licensed Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Master's Degree in relevant health field a plus. CPHQ certification preferred. Candidates with 5 years clinical experience, and/or quality assurance or quality management experience, along with a thorough understanding and knowledge of TQM principles/practices, including familiarity with Federal and State Post-Acute Care codes and regulations.
