Description
The Administrative/Legal Assistant works within a team to support a high level business and transactional attorney to steward his day-to-day activities. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Administrative execution of all aspects of attorney calendar, including scheduling, prioritization of meetings and engagements, time management and meeting follow-ups.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the attorney’s daily activities, allowing other team members to function at optimal efficiency.
- Draft, transcribe, proofread and execute accurate business correspondence, email communication and documents.
- File management, time entry, billing and transcription of dictation.
- Manage relationships and communications with partners, clients and firm administration, including accounting and marketing.

Requirements
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Approximately 5 years of prior administrative assistant experience, preferably in a transactional finance/legal setting.
- Strong computer skills. Experience with Outlook Calendar strongly preferred.
- Proficient dictation transcription through use of headphones and a foot pedal.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to prioritize and build structure in unstructured situations.
- Ownership mentality, high degree of proactivity.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders.
- High level of professionalism and reliability.
- Discretion with regard to confidential matters.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
