Position: Piano Accompanist
Location: Parker Middle School
Hours: TBD
Duration: Ten months - 1st day of school for students - last day of school for students
Starting Fall of 2024/2025 School Yeear
Qualifications:
- High school diploma;
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in music preferred;
- Ability to sight-read and perform sophisticated piano accompaniments and voice parts;
- Comfortable working with electric keyboards;
- Comfortable playing in all musical genres including classical, musical theater, jazz and popular styles;
- Prior successful experience with students preferred;
- Willingness to implement directives provided by professional staff, especially scheduling solo and ensemble;
- Demonstrate a positive attitude reflecting flexibility, patience, caring and cooperation;
- Some computer skills required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher to achieve instructional objectives for the development of choral excellence;
- Accompany each choir at all choir concerts and/or choral festivals, etc;
- OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Wages: $20.00 per hour through EDUStaff
