Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing guest inquiries and group events, ensuring successful booking and servicing of social events at our restaurants. This includes processing agreements, responding to guest requests, and other related tasks to ensure seamless coordination. The ideal candidate collaborates with guests to align their preferences with restaurant logistics and actively promotes additional services to maximize revenue and enhance guest experience. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm current-day reservations: Retrieve bookings from the PEAK or Open Table system and confirm them via phone.
- Answer and take all restaurant reservation calls.
- Maintain regular communication with contacts responsible for booked group events.
- Ensure a welcoming and attentive atmosphere through polite and efficient interactions to exceed guest expectations.
- Must have complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus: the ingredients, preparation, how items are served and prices to better assist the guests.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by accommodating guest preferences, special requests, and inquiries related to reservations.
- Assist in resolving guest concerns or issues regarding their dining reservations.
- Monitor table status to keep track of clean, occupied, and unoccupied seating.
- Look up guests profile prior to their arrival.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless execution of group events.
- Promote additional services, such as special menu items, beverage packages, and event enhancements, to increase revenue.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies to attract group bookings.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Restaurants.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing outstanding support.
- Capacity to work independently, following given instructions, standard routines, and accepted practices.
- Proficiency with restaurant-related software, including POS, MS Office, Open Table, and other restaurant management tools.
- 1-2 years of hosting experience in a luxury restaurant
