What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Meeting Manager position at Parker Palm Springs?
The Executive Meeting Manager (EMM) handles groups with room blocks between 8-20 (on peak) in all industries, handling booking from receipt of lead through departure. This is a reactive position with no prospecting goals. Position supports the “lead catcher” engaging with leads as they come through Cvent / Website / Delphi assigning accordingly and works with Sales Coordinator to ensure same-day response.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Requires excellent verbal and written skills as will often be the first point of contact with client.
- Respond to RFP within 4 hours
- Attends twice-daily business review to obtain rates for leads
- Follows check list provided of tasks required to service groups
- Ensures all deposits are received as contracted
- Organizational skills are a must as this person will work internally with sales, Reservations, catering, kitchen and Conference Services providing all details for assigned groups.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and extract details needed to understand program and relating group needs to all operational departments
- Output of work is through the Salesforce / Delphi system; i.e., bookings, merging contracts, group resumes and BEO’s being generated.
- Updating the sourcing platform Cvent to include client responses, generation of proposals using tools in Delphi and Proposal path, running reports, etc.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and follow up skills to create client loyalty, confidence, and repeat business
- Work in conjunction with other departments within the hotel to ensure smooth handling of groups.
- Must have entrepreneurial mindset and be able to take initiative to capture business and maximize profits for the hotel.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and / or assigned as necessary.
Qualifications and Educations Requirements :
Salary Range is $68,560 - $80,000.
