Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development. This role is essential in providing quality education and care, particularly in a preschool or private school setting, with a focus on creating a loving environment and inclusive practices for children from 6 weeks to 10 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and engaging classroom activities.
- Support curriculum development that aligns with educational standards and student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff to ensure collaborative support for each child's development.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain an organized and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
