What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice Plumber position at Parker Services?
Parker Services is looking for an experienced apprentice plumber to join our team. We have a full calendar of fun work ahead of us for 2025 and a spot just opened up on our team. We are looking for someone who has experience in both residential and commercial plumbing projects. We would like to find someone who has experience laying out plumbing based off of plans and experience in threading, pro-press and installing PVC. Responsibilities : Assist and Install commercial plumbing systems on TI projects. Collaborate with a team of experienced plumbers to tackle challenges. Communicate effectively with site superintendents and project managers. Anticipate project needs and ensure quality work. What We’re Looking For : Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience (commercial & residential). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a professional demeanor. Confidence in your plumbing skills and a commitment to quality. Excellent communication skills with both customers and teammates. Reliable transportation and ability to use technology efficiently. Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record. Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 60-75 pounds). Regular bending, squatting, overhead work, and working on ladders or lifts. Physical stamina to work in standing, crouching, and kneeling positions for extended periods. Ability to climb stairs and ladders regularly.
