Position Summary:
The HVAC Warranty Manager leads the warranty department, overseeing a team of HVAC Warranty Technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and documenting warranty-related HVAC service issues. This role includes managing quality assurance (QA) efforts on residential HVAC installations, ensuring adherence to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with technical HVAC knowledge and strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall operations of the warranty department, providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and oversight to supervisors and their teams.
- Ensure supervisors uphold standards for documentation accuracy, field inspections, and QA compliance across all warranty activities.
- Monitor service trends, QA findings, and customer feedback to identify performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with supervisors to coach, develop, and evaluate warranty technicians, ensuring alignment with safety protocols, customer service expectations, and company values.
- Support supervisors in resolving escalated customer concerns and coordinate cross-functional efforts with installation teams to address recurring issues.
- Implement and enhance warranty and QA policies to improve efficiency, reduce repeat visits, and elevate the customer experience.
- Oversee department logistics including inventory management, warranty claims tracking, and interdepartmental communication.
- Stay current with HVAC technologies, warranty practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure department readiness and compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC service, installation, or warranty, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of HVAC system diagnostics, repairs, and manufacturer warranty protocols.
- EPA Universal Certification preferred (Type I & II required).
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree in HVAC a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
