Overview
Parker & Sons, one of the largest home services of its kind, is seeking a Permit Coordinator manage our permits here at Parker and Sons. This person will work closely with the operations team to maintain tracking of current permits and ensure any pending documentation is complete. This is an important role within the company and with growth, we are expaning this team.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Submit all required permits on behalf of operations
- Review submittal requests to check that permit documentation is complete
- Communicate to appropriate teams when documentation needs are not met
- Design and cut sheets to proper jurisdiction
- Submit completed packets to appropriate municipality
- Pay fees as needed
- Receive and log redline notices and communicate to the dept what changes are required.
- Manage alerts from municipal communications
- Log permit statuses within ST and on the Tracker
- Store permits & documents within project folders
- Schedule inspections with municipalities
- Complete Siteplans
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to learn our Service Titan software (Window based)
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse group of people, including technicians, customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
- Have attention to detail and ensure accuracy with all tasks and reporting
- Ability to ‘think on your feet’- have solid analytical & problem-solving skills
- Must bring a positive mindset to your team and specialty department

- Must be able to work with minimal supervision at times
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screens
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Remain seated for long periods of time in an office setting.
- Ability to transition between office settings
