Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose common and diverse plumbing emergencies efficiently and accurately• Perform plumbing service to our customers with best practices and go above and beyond minimum requirements• Maintain a clean, safe working area on every job and leave the property in better condition than you found it• Communicate with our customers about options to repair their issue and deliver pricing using a flat rate price book provided by Parker & Sons• Document all work performed with before and after pictures • Educate our customers about all services Parker & Sons offers such as HVAC, electrical, water treatment etc.• Must be available to work nights & weekends for an on-call rotation or as needed.• Participate in company provided training opportunities• Maintain proper stock, tools and safety equipment on a company issued vehicle • Maintain a clean service vehicle inside and out and check all safety and maintenance requirements daily• Call Blue Stake before digging• Have excellent communication with all Parker and Sons employees• Perform other related duties as required• Maintain a 5-star review with customers• Keep well groomed, clean uniform and work shoes• Maintain >50% closing rate on marketed and technician sales leads

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

• Minimum of two years residential service and repair, diagnosing and troubleshooting a normal plumbing system• Good analytical skills and attention to detail • Computer skills with the ability to use a remote application for invoicing and time sheets• Strong time management skills, the ability to take initiative and to work independently
• Meet a minimum tool requirement• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and maintained a good driving record• Minimum of age 21• Must have a valid driver license (must be insurable) & valid social security number.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:Physical Activities• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.• Adjusting or moving objects up to _100_ pounds in all directions.• Communicating with others to exchange information.• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.• Operating machinery and/or power tools.• Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.• Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.Environmental Conditions• Low temperatures.• High temperatures.• Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.• Noisy environments.• Hazardous conditions.• Poor ventilation.• Small and/or enclosed spaces.Physical Demands• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.• Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.• Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more
