Join the Procurement Engagement and Sourcing team at a leading real estate technology firm as a customer-focused Strategic Sourcing Manager. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor, driving key elements of the supplier relationship lifecycle, including strategic planning, sourcing, negotiations for complex deals, and supplier relationship management. You’ll monitor spend, manage financial commitments, and collaborate with teams to forecast upcoming needs to align with business goals.

You’ll also support internal stakeholders in analyzing and optimizing technology and professional services agreements, refining procurement processes, and providing expertise on budgets, purchasing, and planning. If you excel at building relationships, negotiating impactful deals, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

What Your Day Looks Like:

Sourcing and Supplier Management:

• Lead sophisticated sourcing events, facilitate contract negotiations, and manage supplier relationships across assigned categories.
• Research and identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supplier performance to meet business needs.
• Monitor supplier spend and ensure alignment with budget, projects, and business unit goals.

Collaboration and Strategic Advisory:

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including technology, finance, and legal, to facilitate solution selection, define supplier standards, and align priorities.
• Act as a strategic advisor, providing expertise and guidance on sourcing strategies and supplier management best practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.

Process Improvement and Compliance:

• Develop and implement standard supplier agreements, sourcing practices, and supplier management methodologies.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve sourcing processes and optimize supplier performance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, educate stakeholders on compliance, and support supplier performance management adoption.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Analyze value propositions and total cost of ownership, differentiating operating and capital expenditures with finance partners.
• Build and maintain detailed reporting on supplier metrics, savings, supplier diversity, sustainability, and supplier rationalization.
• Make strategic recommendations to rationalize suppliers and improve overall supplier effectiveness.

Mentorship and Leadership:

• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on complex deals and best practices.
• Serve as a role model for delivering results and driving innovation in sourcing and procurement strategies.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in leading complex sourcing events, managing supplier relationships, budgets, and driving strategic initiatives, preferably in large tech organizations.
• Expertise in technology and services category management with strong negotiation skills and the ability to adapt to diverse supplier landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects, prioritize multiple tasks in fast-paced environments, and deliver results with attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen to identify risks, analyze value propositions, and align supplier strategies with organizational goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and foster collaboration.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, including operating and capital expenditure management, and budget oversight.
• Familiarity with supplier diversity, sustainability initiatives, and supplier performance management best practices.
• Innovative, action-oriented mindset with a track record of solving complex problems and driving process improvements.
• Ability to mentor and guide team members on best practices and strategic sourcing techniques.
