About us: Parker Trutec Urbana facility specializes in surface protection coatings primarily in Phosphate, E-Coat painting, and solid lubrication for applications mostly in the automotive industry.

Qualifications (including but not limited to):
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or commensurate experience and education. Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership position
- Must be able to analyze numerical data and detect abnormal situations.
- Knowledge of how to handle and operate all equipment assigned in the area.
Required skills, knowledge and abilities:
- Candidate should have a complete grasp of process quality control methodology
- 5P or 8D method of problem solving
- Demonstrated management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- 5 years minimum quality related experience
- Manufacturing experience a must (Knowledge of automotive manufacturing requirements/experience is a major plus)
Duties (including but not limited to):
- Responsible for maintaining integrity of finished product which requires the monitoring and maintain key process control indicators.
- Monitoring finished product quality
- Monitoring incoming part quality
- Creating and reporting plant quality performance with focus on root cause and countermeasure activity
- Responsible for new product APQP and PPAP process execution
- Building and maintaining quality capabilities of team members
- Managing performance of team’s responsibilities including testing lab and equipment
- Working with customers to improve product quality
- Troubleshooting quality of non-conforming parts
- Maintain Quality certifications.
Additional duties may be required as needed by Parker Trutec and our customers.
